These double walled stainless steel thermal mugs are brilliant. Just ask any instructor throughout the country & they will tell you that they’ve used them for years. Simply make your hot/cold drink, seal the lid down, pop it in your bag and several hours later it will still be warm/cool.
(Note that these are not as good as a vacuum flask, etc, but still very good at retaining heat)
