Fire Dragon Fuel Tablet – Pre-Production
We still have some of our initial 100 boxes of pre-production fuel tablets which, following a year of testing, we’re selling off the remainder at discounted prices. These initial boxes are all slightly astray of their claimed weight (our tests on a random sample shows between 22 & 45 grams per tablet – they should be approx. 27 grams) which will result in slightly different burn times from the claimed 8 minutes. But that isn’t going to stop you having a cracking fire with them!
FireDragon can boil 500 ml of water in 5 minutes. This is over 2 minutes faster than the second best performing fuel. Meths boiled the same amount of water in 7 minutes, Hexamine in 7.5 minutes and Liquid Ethanol Gel in 7.75 minutes. That’s a massive 2.75 minutes longer than FireDragon.
During manufacturers tests, Fire Dragon fuel outperformed the traditional rivals in the market; namely hexamine blocks, ethanol fuel gel & meths. This chart shows the water temperature relative to burn times of the various products. Its clear to see which is the best!
