Peer Testimonial.“I have worked with Chris and during that time I found him to be an honest and sincere person. He is a person of integrity and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to any organisation thinking of utilising Chris’s wide skill base.” Geoffrey McMullan BEM, MSc, MBACP Pathfinder-UK
Birthday Party.“Forest Skills Ltd provided a magical bushcraft 9th birthday party for my son and his friends. Chris made bushcraft achievable and fun for the lads, who didn’t want to leave despite the cold wet December night. I would wholeheartedly recommend Chris and his team.” – Marcus
Back Garden Bushcraft Camp.“Chris has set up a fantastic bushcraft area for our children in the garden. They have had great fun making fires, relaxing in the hammocks and cutting wood using their new saw horse. We would thoroughly recommend him to anyone looking for advice on any bushcrafting matters.” – Gill and John Paulson
Shop Purchases“The tarp arrived this afternoon. Thank you very much for the efficient service. – Mrs J
Olympuss 2012 (Cheshire Beavers & Cubs event).“I was surprised that you could make string from nettles without getting stung; that was amazing. I really enjoyed learning new skills that I can use when I next go to Bickerton Hills. Chris was really good at explaining how to do things. It was my favourite part of the day!” – Sam (aged 7).
Private course.“I’ve just enjoyed a fantastically rewarding weekend with Forest Skills Ltd’s expert instructor Chris. After 2 days my wild camping confidence is at a new high. Fire making, wild food prep, camp set up; all covered effortlessly and in depth. Brilliant fun!” – Dave
Birthday Party.“Thank you so much for a wonderful party for our son’s 7th Birthday. Chris was great with our group of 11 over-exuberant boys! Everyone loved the fire making and the look of achievement on every boys face as they managed to burn their cotton wool was priceless. I would definitely recommend Chris and forest skills.” – Fiona B.
Just thought I’d let you know how much the Brownies enjoyed the session, it was their favourite thing on Friday. They have diaries where they record what they did, crafts they made, their favourite food and their favourite ‘bit’ each day. They absolutely loved it as it was something different from the usual activities we do on Pack Holiday, and, as one of our Brownies says ‘It’s memories’! Here are a few comments; I’ve kept the original spellings:
Cheers and thanks again, Kay 9th All Saints Brownies, St Helens
- ‘Today we made a fire, we made are own sparkler, we did it also in the old fashioned way.’
- ‘Today we made a fiyer and set fier to babby sheep and made sparks.’
- ‘Woke up and we got redey. We went to make a fier and it didn’t work for us. Well it was the second best day of my life.'(!)
- ‘We roasted marshmallows when a man teached us how to light a fire when it was pouring down with rain!’
Birthday Party.“That was the best birthday party that I’ve ever been to.” Daisy (aged 8).
Private Booking.“Thank you so much for today! I was in the office listening to the children going home and telling their parents what a great day they have had. :)” – Steve Barton (Manager) WASP @ Woodley Primary School.
